Art education is currently being threatened by budget cut proposals. Many people don’t think that art education is necessary, but what they don’t consider are the links art education has to higher proficiency in reading, writing, and math, as well as higher fluid IQ scores. People also don’t realize how big of a role art plays in their everyday life. This campaign shows people the importance of art in schools by showing them a world without art. This is represented by everyday objects and media being shown completely void of creativity and artistic input, except for the small area in the lower right corner. After seeing this media, the viewer will realize the importance of art education and will be motivated to try to keep art in schools.
